Memorial

Chapel

Faith Memorial Chapel welcomes folks of all denominations to our services held on Sundays at 11 a.m. We meet only in the summer and have no membership roll so you won't feel like a guest. Each Sunday we have clergy from different churches that visit us to lead the service and we are blessed also to have great music to accompany the great message. This Sunday Faith Memorial Chapel welcomes the Rev. John S. Nieman. John currently serves as interim rector at St. James Episcopal Church in Greenville, South Carolina. The St. James Choir will provide selections of music.

Sacred Heart

Catholic

Church

Jesus feeds us. This Sunday, Sacred Heart celebrates the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. God has been feeding all of us from the beginning of time – in the first garden, in the desert and in our times of feast and famine. We welcome everyone to share in a feast of abundant blessings with our Brevard Catholic community. Upcoming events at Sacred Heart include a blood drive sponsored by the Knights of Columbus on Monday, June 12, in the Fellowship Hall. Donors are welcome from noon to 5 p.m. Someone is always in need of blood. Please consider being a donor. You can sign up to give at www.redcrossblood.org. The second annual Sacred Heart Feast Day Celebration is Friday, June 16. Mass begins at 5 p.m. followed by live music, games, a basket raffle and desserts starting at 6:30 p.m. and concluding at 9 p.m. Bring your picnic meal, beverage(s) of choice, chairs, blankets and friends for fun and music by Rudy's Rhythm & Revue. It's a family affair and you are part of our family. If you or someone you know is struggling to face life after the loss of a loved one, please join us in Grief Rite. This program, expected to start in late June or early July, is open to everyone in the community, not just Sacred Heart parishioners. The framework for the support group is a six-week Bible study tracing the steps of varied Scriptural characters who experienced loss. Each week, the group will examine how they coped with that loss and what can be learned from them. Please come to find comfort and courage with others who face similar challenges in recovering from loss. Contact Pat Hurtak, a member of our Pastoral Care Team, at (828) 290-2279 to sign up or get more information. You are always welcome to join us for weekend Mass offered Saturday at 4 p.m.(English) and 7 p.m. (Spanish), and Sunday at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Check our website – www.sacredheartbrevard.org — for more information. The church is located at 150 Brian Berg Lane, Brevard.
